Make borderline into a resource corridor. Cities near the borderline can transport waste to nearby node which is developed from the border crossing station. Different facilities at the node can transfer waste to raw material and offer recycled material, energy and clear water to the resource corridor.
Why Plastic Waste?First, wastes are no longer exportable so both U.S. and Canada both need to face this problem correctly. Second, wastes are selling between these two countries, Canada is transporting their wastes to U.S. to be landfilled and U.S. is sending hazardous wastes to Canada. And because more and more waste is buried, the landfill is expanding, which makes the surrounding neighbors suffer.
